Hardwood mulch comes from chipped or shredded branches as well as small trees. Hardwood mulch is an organic mulch, nourishing the soil and plants as it decomposes.

This mulch is freshly ground Hemlock bark with a fibrous texture and composted for 1-2 years to give it a rich, dark, reddish brown colour. It is a very attractive and beautiful mulch providing soil moisture retention and weed control.

Approximately 1" uniform size which has been created from White Cedar. Light brown (natural) in colour, similar to 2" Woodchips. The trade name of this product is Fibertop™. Fibertop™ is CSA approved. It has been certified for fall impact, wheel chair accessibility and particle size by IPEMA (International Playground Equipment Manufacturer's Association). Not available in Bag Your Own.

Freshly ground pine bark with a uniform texture, pine aroma and reddish brown in colour. It has an acidic pH level which helps condition soil. Use this mulch to help conserve soil moisture and to prevent weed growth.
