NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS: EXCESSIVE SALT DEMAND & LIMITED SUPPLY

Dear Valued Customers,

Follow up to initial customer notice dated Dec 26th 2025
Due to a GTA-wide salt shortage, ALL our suppliers have halted shipments to non-municipal
customers. We have secured salt from alternative sources that are out of province. The
availability and cost of the salt we are sourcing is constantly changing. The freight rates
incurred to bring the salt into our market are also constantly changing. The result is a wildly
fluctuating 30-70% increase in the price of ice melting salt.

We are doing our best to stabilize prices on a week to week basis. Please contact
our office when you place your orders to receive pricing updates

✅ Existing Delivery Customers: We are accepting delivery orders; however, all orders will be
placed in a queue.

We understand that this situation is challenging, and we are actively working to secure
additional salt from alternative sources. Should there be any significant changes in the market
we will provide another update.

Dear Valued Customers,

Due to a GTA-wide salt shortage, major suppliers have halted shipments to non-municipal customers. We have secured salt from alternative sources that are out of province. As a result, our supply is extremely limited and prices will be increased as follows

New Pricing Effective January 1st 2026:

· Rock Salt: $188 per yard
· Treated Salt: $225 per yard
· Sand 75% / Salt 25% Mix: $108 per yard

✅ Existing Delivery Customers: We are accepting delivery orders; however, all orders will be placed in a queue. Updated delivered pricing will be emailed to you, if you do not receive an updated delivered price please contact our office for updated pricing.

We understand that this situation is challenging, and we are actively working to secure additional salt from alternative sources. Should there be any changes in pricing due to sourcing adjustments, we will provide an update.
